Did you know over 12 billion natural corks are cast off to landfills around the world each year? Sip the Good Life™ and ReCORK America™ are working together to give these valuable, reusable resources new life in flooring tiles, playground surfaces, garden mulch, and more.
All the corks collected from the 3rd Annual Earth Day Food & Wine Festival were donated to Steinbeck Garden for their Vineyards Growing Veggies™ project. The corks were used as a mulch, spread throughout the garden.
